Hamilton Terrace Townhouse

This stately townhouse on Hamilton Terrace in Harlem was originally built in 1910. The renovation required the design of new kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing and mechanical systems, electrical, and finishes throughout. The historical layouts and period details such as decorative plasterwork, millwork, original doors, trim profiles and molding, historic tile, stained glass, and fireplaces, were retained wherever possible, aiming to preserve the rich layers of history. Meticulous restoration of historic details paired with modern amenities and traditional materials contribute to a classic and timeless design.
